HOME IN THE HILLS
This album is dedicated to preserving my work serving as the Davis & Elkins College event photographer. I have chosen one or two photos from each of the events I have covered. Hopefully this will show by the end of my tenure how much I've grown as a photographer and immortalize the amazing experience I've had at the college. This album will continue to grow, so watch it closely.
Images from one of the two iconic mansions on the campus of Davis & Elkins College. Halliehurst contains stunning architecture from its creepy basement all the way to it's beautiful spiral staircase inside the tallest spire.
Pictures from my favorite photogenic city, Pittsburgh. From Pirates games at PNC Park to its many museums, the city somehow always looks good.
Images from my night spent at the Fasnacht festival in Helvetica, West Virginia. Known to some as the "Mountian Mardi Gras", the festival contains live music, Swedish inspired food and a little too much square dancing for my taste, but still an amazing experience.
BANKS NO. 2
Images from my latest outing in the familiar sands of the Outer Banks. From the outstanding sunsets to the pesky crabs on the piers, this place ceases to amaze me.
BANKS NO. 1
Images from my first trip to Outer Banks, North Carolina with a camera in my hand. I credit these with influencing my passion for photography and reference it as the beginning of my career.
Just a snowy day with my dogs, JD and Keeta.
BANKS NO. 3
This album commemorates my third trip to the Outer Banks, the birthplace of Jake Bice Photography. My annual trek to this wonderful place always brings the inspiration back to my art form and was a welcome break from the event photography I've been doing for D&E to focus more on my landscapes, especially my new favorite, astro-photography.
